Following few support cases where some audio issues among participants have been reported. Vidyo support has concluded that it may be due to participants using old VidyoConnect desktop version 19.1.1 that has an issue to negotiate and switch among different audio codecs. The need for a switch on audio codec may be given by the different clients (different operating systems: mobile and desktop) or H.323 devices involved.
Therefore, if you are still running VidyoConnect for desktop on MacOS or Windows Operating system, please just let the new version install, this should happen when you connect to a Vidyo conference using our portal: https://vidyoportal.cern.ch. If this is not happening automatically, please open an SNOW ticket to check why.
